How the Chryso & GCP solutions contribute to CO2 reduction?

At Saint-Gobain Construction Chemicals, we’re committed to decarbonize construction, helping the development of lightweight construction and building methods using alternative materials.

Our innovative cement additives and concrete admixtures play an essential role in enhancing the performance of low-carbon materials.
That’s why we have integrated into our approach the solutions that contribute most to reducing Greenhouse Gas Emissions generated by cement and concrete:

  • Cement additives: enable lower clinker content in cement
  • New generation plasticizers and superplasticizers used in concrete: also called water reducers, they enable cement content reduction or use of lower clinker content cement
  • Flowable screed: enable reduced volume of screed by m2
