Saint-Gobain Weber Beamix announces today that it is acquiring MPG Solutions’ sales activities pertaining to Cemfloor® cementitious screeds and Chryso® concrete admixtures.

Saint-Gobain Weber Beamix reinforces its position on the flooring market as a manufacturer and supplier of cementitious-based screeds for residential and commercial construction.
A dedicated Chryso team of experts will manage sales relations with concrete industries and customers and support them in their transition to decarbonization.
MPG Solutions, a long-standing partner, will ensure the handover and for the time-being continues to handle the logistics side of the business.

In addition to the already well-known and well-established Weber liquid sand cement screed (VZC®), Saint-Gobain Weber Beamix now also offers Weber Cemfloor®, a high-quality liquid screed composed of functional cement-based binders.
Bas Huysmans, CEO Weber Benelux: “Complementing our range with Weber Cemfloor® creates an even broader and more complete flooring offering, enabling us to respond even better to the needs of our current and potential customers in the building industry for both flooring and renovation.”

As a part of Saint-Gobain Construction Chemicals since 2021, producing and distributing innovative admixtures for concrete to enable better performing and low-CO2 concrete mix designs, Chryso strengthens its presence in the Netherlands.

Marc Alfonseda, Managing Director Saint-Gobain Construction Chemicals Benelux comments: “Our local presence will enable us to be closer to the market and provide our customers with highly responsive technical support. Concrete industrials and customers will benefit from the strength of Chryso’s extensive R&D capabilities and local laboratory to offer innovative tailor-made solutions adapted to new local materials.”

Robert Hurkmans, Managing Director MPG Solutions: “The cooperation with Saint-Gobain Weber Beamix not only broadens the range, but also improves security of supply for our customers in the short and long term.”

This operation is aligned with Saint-Gobain’s strategy to be the worldwide leader in light and sustainable construction by developing innovative and value-added solutions for both the flooring and concrete markets.
