SCL Tunnel Spray-applied waterproofing system
Fast-curing, seamless and fully bonded liquid, spray-applied system specially designed to provide superior bond to shotcrete and accelerate project schedules by allowing shotcrete to be used as a final lining.
TYTRO® SL 500 is based on advanced resin technologies developed specifically for use in the confined spaces and conditions of a tunnel construction environment and for application between primary and secondary concrete linings.
It is a robust, spray applied system, which forms a seamless, intimate bond with the concrete so water cannot penetrate through the membrane and circulate behind it. Once the membrane has been applied, prior to encapsulation it is tested using a non-destructive electrical integrity test.

PREPRUFE® waterproofing membrane has a 25 year, 75 million m2 successful track record of protecting critical cut & cover tunnels and station boxes across the world. PREPRUFE® membrane bonds to structural concrete, giving lifetime protection against groundwater, gas and chemically contaminated soil. Cold-applied, dual-adhesive overlaps provide superior safe performance in all site conditions.
INTEGRITANK® is a fully reactive elastomeric, cold spray-applied waterproofing system designed to outlast the design life of the tunnel. It is quick and easy to apply even around details, corners and penetrations, and provides a tough, durable, fully bonded membrane which is resistant to backfill and hydrostatic pressure. INTEGRITANK® can be electrically tested post application and prior to backfill to ensure a defect free finish is achieved.
PREPRUFE® pre-applied waterproofing membranes combined with INTEGRITANK® or BITUTHENE® post-applied membranes provide a fully integrated solution to achieve completely dry underground spaces.
